Your New Role...
Entry-level market research position provides administrative support to Vice Presidents, Market Research. Additionally, provides support on an as needed basis to the Market Research staff.
Your Role Responsiblities...
- Heavily involved in the coordination of research projects (including but not limited to: recruited audience screenings, focus groups, and advertising testing).
- Prepares tables and occasionally assists with written reports and analyses relating to market research and strategy.
- Assists in the creation and execution of historical tracking comparison charts, presentation decks, and other documents as needed.
- Maintains various research files, records, indexes and archives.
- Liaises with assistants, administrators and co-workers internally and cross-divisionally.
- Manages guest lists and occasionally attends and takes notes at recruited audience screenings.
- Compiles and databases information from internal and external sources, and performs initial analyses of these data.
- Manages a heavy volume of emails and regularly types correspondence.
- Coordinates/arranges travel and hotel accommodations and completes expense reports.
- Maintains executive calendars with a heavy volume of meetings and schedules meetings, independently or as directed.
- Assists with billing responsibilities.
- Film database management; maintaining norms documents.
- Answers telephones, screens, logs and places calls.
- Orders supplies.
- Performs work-related errands on foot and, occasionally, by car.
- Performs other related duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Previous secretarial experience preferred.
- Previous entertainment, market research, statistical or database experience preferred, but not required.
- College graduate with coursework in Mathematics or Statistics, Data / Information / Computer Science, Research Methods, specifically, or Marketing, Economics, Sociology, or Communications, generally, preferred.
- Typing: 45 wpm required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets). Bonus if having a working knowledge of ChatGPT and other AI-based tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook / Teams and Zoom for scheduling meetings.
- Must have excellent writing skills.
- Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.
- Proficiency in data processing, data visualization, and database programs (SPSS, Excel, Tableau, R, Python, SQL, Qualtrics, Power BI, SAS, et al.) preferred.
- Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle deadlines.
- Must be innovative, enthusiastic, & friendly.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
- Must be able to process a high volume of incoming/outgoing e-mails.
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
- Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
- Must be able to work with extremely sensitive information discreetly.
- Finally, must enjoy movies; have a passion for them!

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $42,006.00 - $78,010.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
