Pilot Recruiter - Helicopter Air Ambulance

Med-Trans (Global Medical Response)

We invite you to use your high level recruiting and sourcing skills to help MedTrans build our highly skilled teams of EMS helicopter, pilots. JOB SUMMARY:

This individual has the primary responsibility of ensuring that the pilot staffing needs of the Company are continuously met. The position will require extensive sourcing, phone screening, attending conferences and job fairs, and will have the primary responsibility of presenting qualified pilot applicants to the Regional Recruiting Manager, Chief Pilot, and/or the Chief Pilot's selected designees, for hiring considerations. This is a remote position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Responsible for all areas of pilot recruiting
  • Regularly reviews all pilot job descriptions for necessary revisions
  • Partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
  • Develops specific and targeted creative recruitment strategies using a variety of means in order to identify and develop candidates from various sources
  • Utilizes various recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates
  • Full life-cycle recruiting to include: sourcing, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, submitting to hiring managers, coordinating interviews, notification to candidate, offer letters etc.
  • Provides information to potential pilot candidates about the Company, culture, benefits and growth opportunities
  • Acts as point-of-contact with all hiring managers and candidates throughout the entire interview and hiring process
  • Extensively attends recruiting events, job fairs, pilot conferences, etc.
  • Ensures adequate pilot recruitment advertisement in all venues
  • Assists with all other duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written Save
  • Ability to source, evaluate and recruit top level talent by effectively sharing company value proposition, generating interest and funneling qualified applicants and candidates into Company talent pipelines
  • Willingness and ability to travel to relevant industry events as necessary, including occassional overnights and weekends
  • Ability to coordinate and/or assist with interviews as needed
  • Solid interpersonal and group communciation skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Helicopter Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating
  • Previous aviation operations or aviation recruiting expience
  • Part 135 helicopter air ambulance experience

The approximate starting salary range for this role will be 75,000 - 85,000 annually, DOE.
