Role is based in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities
Load management including, but not limited to, entering data into internal system, calling and finding carriers to move our customers’ freight, receiving inbound calls from carriers, negotiating rates, and following up with drivers from pickup to the delivery point on all loads (i.e., track and trace activities)
Establish strategic relationships with new and existing carriers to secure capacity on account opportunities.
Address and resolve carrier escalation issues.
Request necessary paperwork from carriers.
Communicate available capacity to the team and match up consistent lanes with dedicated capacity.
Utilize Salesforce in accordance with company policy and expectations.
Provide PTO coverage for team members.
Maintain a positive team work environment by fostering positive relationships amongst the team.
Perform other duties assigned by manager.
Requirements
1 year of previous sales experience.
Bilingual with ability to speak Spanish and English preferred.
Previous freight brokerage and truckload experience preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to multi-task.
Computer proficiency.
Reporting to our Dallas office with normal working hours of 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST Monday – Friday.
