Responsibilities

NOW HIRING a Material Analyst to join or team! Work schedule is Monday - Friday 1pm-9pm

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Mold and test throat-samples, ground-parts, blend-silos, incoming-lots, railcars, and vendor samples. Mold and perform testing on an average of 100 full cell class tests and 10 railcars each week. Perform multiple tasks simultaneously, while maintaining accuracy and expected output. Additional responsibilities for this position include assisting with testing trial materials and trial products. Perform work to ISO and ASTM standards and adhere to safe work practices.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform the molding and testing of the ASTM specimens according to detailed ASTM test protocols. Perform complex testing on multiple testing machines simultaneously. The ability to multi-task is a significant requirement. Support the Molding operations team with requested testing results. This position has a split-shift requirement to work across two shifts, work hours may be adjusted.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma

Algebra

Previous Polymer lab testing experience

Previous Metrology lab experience

Ability to read and write reports well

Computer literate at intermediate level (email, spreadsheet, word processing, databases, ERP server software applications)

Ability to be standing and walking for 8 hours continuously

Ability to move around the facility without assistance.

Must be able to climb stairs

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Ability to wear and operate safety equipment (earplugs, safety glasses, footwear)
