Primary Responsibilities: As a member of the procurement team in Sales Operations, the inventory Analyst will be a key team member in the day-to-day tasks of forecasting, inventory planning, equipment ordering, and data governance.

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour based on location and experience.

Responsibilities









  • Ordering machines and work tools from Cat and allied vendors for inventory and for customer needs.
  • Compiling and analyzing various reports to aide with inventory management and forecasting
  • Utilizing Caterpillar systems and tools to manage current on hand orders.
  • Issuing and tracking purchase orders to vendors for various needs to support the sales and rental of earthmoving equipment.
  • Managing the supply chain of machines and work tools shipping from various Caterpillar facilities until they reach Milton Cat locations.
  • Ensuring that the data that we are entering into our ERP system is accurate and up to date to ensure we are sending accurate signals both internally and externally.
  • Assisting the procurement manager with various initiatives in support of the machine sales department.














Qualifications









  • 2-3 years' experience in an analytical position, ideally with a Sales, Marketing or Finance Department
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment industry required - Must have a basic understanding of the products that we rent and sell, including work tool attachments.
  • Strong experience in inventory management preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong internal/external customer service approach.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills; detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • High level of accuracy with attention to detail, and who is process oriented.
  • Someone who can work in a team environment and collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Milton CAT territory on an as needed basis.
