Description
Wagner Logistics, a top 50 Third-party logistics company, began business in 1946. We provide supply chain services, including distribution center management, warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, product assembly, and packaging for our 20+ locations across 15 states, totaling over 7 million square feet of warehouse space. We are currently looking for a 3-Part Checker for our Monroe, LA facility.
Positions available are for the night shift from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am. These shifts work 3 days on and then have 3 days off.

The 3-Part Checker is responsible for accurately identifying and matching the number sequences on pallets being loaded for shipping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to read and write legibly.
- Be able to identify and match number sequences
- Follow directions given by the Shipping Manager or Supervisor
- Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing or repacking projects as needed
- Inspect completed loads for accuracy
- Sign, date and turn in load documents to the shipping office when completed
- Identify damaged, lost or missing product and notify warehouse leadership immediately
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
- Interact with warehouse management, warehouse personnel, customers, vendors and the other employees/guests in a professional manner
- Including other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge/Experience/Skills
- Must be able to read, write and understand basic English
- Basic math, counting and computer abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrate initiative, self-starter, reliable, follow thru and team work skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods of time and repetitively
- Capability to navigate through narrow, confined spaces
- Work near or on top of sloping, uneven and/or slippery surfaces
- Exposure to varying temperatures: heat, cold, wet, damp, drafty
- Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection
- Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights
- Utilize muscles to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
