Introduction to the job

As part of Manufacturing and Logistics, the WF Service Logistics Department concentrates on the availability of spare parts to ensure a healthy fill-rate and satisfy customer expectations. Service Logistics is responsible for the planning, management, expediting, reporting, and adjustment of service activities, as well as the numerous daily escalations from our field sites.

A Service Logistician serves as the main point of contact for our world-wide Global Operations Center handling priority and emergency shipments from our Wilton Factory and Newtown Warehouse to our world-wide service site.

A Tooling Logistician coordinates all critical service tools, and provides accurate supply plans to our demand planning colleagues; including but not limited to expediting material, managing incoming orders, reporting out to internal customers and the handling of daily customer escalations with a focus on customer service.

Role and responsibilities

Service Logistician (Saturday & Sunday):

Coordinate Escalated Shipments: Manage weekend Priority and Emergency requests via cross-sectoral communication with the production and warehouse teams. Communicate updates effectively with our Global Operations Center

Trigger Shipments: Create deliveries and trigger operations team to clean, pack, and ship to necessary customer sites per request from the Global Operations Center.

Communicate Hand Off : Clearly share status of all shipments and requests to our weekday Service Logistician to ensure clarity in cross-sector communication and ownership.

Tooling Logistician (Wednesday through Sunday)

MRP-integrity: Coordinate with our Intercompany Order Management Group to maintain all outgoing Critical Service tool demand in SAP.

Daily escalations : Having the flexibility and ability to switch gears constantly to support daily emergencies and tasks that arise from our customers and the factory.

Recording : Daily/weekly reporting on department specific KPIs.

Reporting and communication : Anticipate problems and proactively communicate across various departments to solution. Report on production progress, delays and causes. Initiate actions to correct deviations from planning, taking the necessary escalation steps.

Hold cross functional meetings : Communicate with various departments; including but not limited to Business Planning, Sourcing and Procurement, & Product Lifecycle Management. Hold weekly meetings with Veldhoven demand planning to status critical tools and tooling below fill rate target.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.

3+ years experience from logistics or planning in customer service, materials, inventory control, and/or production planning or equivalent experience.

Must have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office is required. Especially with Excel.

Personal Attributes: The candidate is an analytical, self-driven, results oriented, flexible, team-worker with excellent communication skills. Has exceptional time management skills and is customer driven. Must be able to congenially work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure, multi-task, and problem solve, while remaining organized.

Technical Skills: Awareness of Lean Manufacturing practices, APICS, and SAP are a plus.

Other information

This role is for first shift Wednesday through Sunday (8AM to 4:30PM w/ half hour break). Training will be completed during Monday through Friday schedule.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
