Personal Bankers have an in depth knowledge of Northwest products and services. The Personal Banker connects our customers with Northwest products and services that fulfill their financial needs while ensuring an exceptional customer experience that helps implement strategies to attain office and individual production goals.

PERSONAL BANKER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Open new accounts and communicate with customers to recognize cross-selling opportunities and assist with mortgage, consumer loan, and credit card functions as needed
  • Actively engage with and greet customers and take ownership to resolve any customer issues or concerns
  • Conduct outbound business calls/referrals on a regular basis
  • Deliver on our North(west) star experience and champion our customer's financial wellness through delivery of exceptional customer experience - both in person, over the phone, and through email communications
  • Assist with implementation of Northwest's strategic business plan and marketing initiatives
  • Exceptional delivery of our 5 Culture Promises
  • Identify and resolve customer issues as well as resolve or escalate issues referred by the office team
  • Seek opportunities for community involvement
  • Complete educational training as assigned and self-educate using bank designed programs and applications
  • Have general knowledge of all office systems and software, perform maintenance and possess an in-depth knowledge of bank products, services, and digital offerings
  • Responsible for adherence to all security and dual control processes, daily branch tasks, and branch opening and closing tasks as needed
  • Assist office management as needed with scheduling staff and completing Audit Certification requirements
  • Work evening hours and weekends as scheduled, assigned, or necessary
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
  • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
  • Work as part of a team
  • Work with on-site equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Work Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years Banking and/or Retail Experience preferred
  • Sales Experience preferred
  • Customer Service Experience preferred
