Job Description
Receiving, stocking, preparation, and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Drive/Operate forklift and electronic pallet jack.
-Pick merchandise from slots.
-Load merchandise into trucks.
-Drop merchandise from 'reserve' to 'pick' slots.
-Prepare 'Via' merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
-Repack loose merchandise.
-Performs housekeeping duties as assigned.
External Qualifications
-High School diploma or GED equivalent.
-Selecting experience in a warehousing environment.
-Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
-Bending, stooping, climbing, standing, and twisting for extended periods of time.
-Ability to lift 70-100 lbs. occasionally.
-Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
-Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
