What this job involves -

Regional Facilities Operations Manager is accountable for developing and implementing a plan which will delight our clients and ensure a healthy long-term relationship. They will anticipate client needs and deliver to outperform on the key performance indicators within the contract. Responsible for overseeing all maintenance and operations of the assigned region. This role will require great organizational skills while effectively managing through multiple priorities, consistently making high quality decisions. The Regional Facilities Operations Manager creates and manages high performing teams which not only delivers operational excellence but keeps employees engaged and thriving, and in conjunction with the JLL leadership team, translates the account's strategy and goals into a best-in-class delivery model.

A successful candidate will be responsible for FM and Engineering service delivery, managing EHS compliance, and ensuring seamless partnership and execution across all JLL services within the region.

What is your day to day?

  • Establish the vision and strategy of the team ensuring there is alignment with the client objectives and interests in areas of FM and Operations delivery, Engineering Services and EHS.
  • Drive the annual plan to deliver high quality results which exceed the client's expectations.
  • Builds and manages high performing teams, and ensures the best qualified candidate is hired for all roles. Execute staff succession and growth plans.
  • Ensures effective planning, scheduling, and execution of all work and maintenance activities in region while meeting contractual outcomes.
  • Oversees regional budgeting process, adherence, and reporting while supporting day to day financial requirements and tasks of the region.
  • Deliver account and client initiatives that drive efficiencies, process improvements, and service excellence.
  • Assist in managing key supplier partners ensuring contractual scope adherence.
  • Travel to and visit regional locations as needed.


Desired experience and technical skills

Required

  • 15+ years experience in Integrated Facilities Management, Engineering, and or Operations
  • 7+ years managerial experience directly overseeing a large organization including both technical and administrative staff
  • Advanced technical knowledge of building systems including electrical distribution, emergency backup power, HVAC and mechanical, etc.
  • Ability to supervise vendor performance
  • Proficient in MS Office and CMMS systems
  • Personnel development & management, strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Willingness to work off shift and weekends as needed to support emergencies or planned initiatives


Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent master's degree, engineering degree
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentations skills
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Knowledge of Excel and ability to perform data analytics
