SUMMARY
The Loan Servicing Specialist I (LSSI) is responsible for providing loan servicing support to all lending staff of the bank. The LSSI performs post-closing services for all loans and will work closely with processing to make sure loans are properly documented plus provide customer service to internal and external customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Gain a thorough knowledge of CNB loan policies and regulations governing the lending/banking industry

• Gain a thorough working knowledge of Loan Operations Systems
• Broad working knowledge of loan servicing processes, collateral documents, loan documentation, and collections

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS
• Process all loan payments including investor payments, collect fees, process internal transfers and process wire transfers.
• Establish on the core loan system all new and renewed commercial, consumer and mortgage loans including collateral, escrow for taxes/insurance and flood data.
• Determine proper loan system coding (product type collateral codes, loan codes, call code, etc.) for all new, renewed and modified loans on the system
• Ensure collateral is perfected (recording of real estate documents, UCC financing statements, vehicle liens, etc.) and has adequate insurance coverage.
• Ensure that policies and procedures are consistently meet and in accordance with the Bank’s objectives/policies and in compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Process loans in non-accrual, charge-offs or OREO status. Prepare related reports and administer system.
• Complete post booking audit for all loan types
• Balance all loan and general ledger accounts used by Loan Operations
• Review various daily, weekly and monthly reports and make required adjustments.
• Create and distribute loan operations department reports
• Scan and index all documents to imaging system
• Maintain exception tracking system by identifying, updating, and monitoring on credit and collateral exceptions and ticklers
• Manage the insurance tracking (PMI, Flood insurance, Hazard & forced placed) process– maintain updated insurance files for all loans. Contact agent with errors or updates. Check for correct lien holder information and amount of coverage per bank policy. Send delinquent insurance letters of forced placed warning if insurance payment is delinquent. Pay or advance forced placed insurance. Pay monthly PMI, flood and homeowners for escrowed insurance
• Manage the property tax tracking process and maintain delinquent accounts.
• Responsible for E-Oscar reporting and updates
• Manage real estate tax escrow process ensuring tax bills are paid and annual escrow analysis is performed.
• Process requests for payoff information and requests for account and credit verifications
• Prepare and process collateral for release
• Ensure collection and bankruptcy accounts are administered in accordance with the Bank’s objectives/policies
• Attend all suggested training and/or webinar classes as assigned
• Successful completion of computer based compliance testing to include but is not limited to CRA, Fact Act, Flood Disaster Protection, OFAC, HOEPA, RESPA, HMDA, Reg O, Reg U, Reg B, Dodd Frank and Truth in Lending/RESPA Integrated Disclosures
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 2+ years of loan servicing or related banking experience
• Must be knowledgeable of all loan servicing processes and systems
• Detailed knowledge of lending products, including residential, commercial, consumer and leasing.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables and situations
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Loan Servicing functions
