Job Title: Production/Inventory Coordinator
Duration: 6 Months Assignment
Location: San Antonio, TX

Working shift: Candidates should be available to work variable shifts based on business need, 1st and 2nd.
First Shift: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm,
Second Sift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.
  • Support the production team in various locations with parts and tools.
  • Monitors and analyzes work in process.
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving of materials.
  • Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems.
  • Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability.
  • Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
Ability to perform the following requirements:
  • The candidate must be able to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
  • Exposure to noise, working on elevated platforms
  • Use personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hand, and arms as required.
  • Pass visual acuity and color perception tests
  • Read, write, and comprehend the English language
  • Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material
  • Obtain & maintain training certifications as required to support assignment responsibilities
  • Occasional (1 to 3 hrs) finger manipulation
  • On occasion, a 2-person lift may be necessary for weights greater than 50 lbs
  • Frequent reaching overhead (3 to 6 hrs)
  • Frequent walking on flat surfaces
  • Frequent standing flat or uneven surfaces
  • Frequent balancing on a ladder, steps, or uneven surfaces
  • Occasional climbing on 3-12 ft ladders or stands
  • Rotation of head/neck, sitting, crawling, squatting, bend/stoop, lying down, and operate foot controls for an extended period of time
  • Occasional contact with metals.
  • Frequent exposure to noise.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience with shipping, receiving and or warehouse experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with loading and unloading trucks with forklift and pallet jacks.
  • 1+ years of experience with experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain or inventory management
  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • 1+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
  • 1+ years of experience in managing projects.
Education/experience:
Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
