Job DescriptionDescription:

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Machine Operator to operate a CNC Bridge Mill and Manual Planer Mill:

  • Set up and remove work pieces from a machine per procedure
  • Proficiently use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and gauges to ensure conformance of specified tolerances
  • Ability to perform in-process inspections at a machine and adjust various offsets to ensure conformance of workpieces as required
  • Position and secure workpieces on machines using measuring instruments, holding devices, hand tools, and cranes
  • Study blueprints, lay outs, sketches, and work orders to determine tolerances and work procedures
  • Ability to recognize tooling types- facemill, drill, taps, etc.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals and calculate tooling speeds and feeds
  • Ability to read and understand documents and blueprints
  • Ability to use hand tools. (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, tape measure, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds to insert tooling, materials, and use lifting devices
  • Crane experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Prior machining experience
  • Knowledge in general machining practices


Compensation details: 17-20 Hourly Wage
