Production Associates
Pioneer is hiring team members for their production team to support and work in Pioneer Direct Marketing Print & Mail Operations. These are career opportunities for individuals who work well in a fast-paced production environment. The scope of the role of production operators is to ensure daily equipment operation in the areas of Make Ready (kitting), AutoPen (handwriting bots), Letter Shop (Digital Equipment), Bindery and Mail Shop (postage stamp affixing) with a focus on producing high quality, and on-time print and mail products.
CURRENT PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER OPENINGS for FULL-TIME, PART-TIME and SEASONAL positions:
- FULL-TIME
- AutoPen Tech (Loading and quality checking handwriting machines)
- AutoPen Make Ready (Kitting for AutoPen production)
- Bindery (Operating Folder, Cutter, and/or Envelope Inserting Machine
- Letter Shop (Operating Digital or Inkjet equipment)
- Mail Shop (Affixing Postage Stamps on envelope and preparing materials for delivery to USPS)
- Inventory Specialist (Managing Inventory Materials)
- PART-TIME
- Delivery Driver (1:00 pm to 6:30 pm taking dropping off mail at post office - DOT Certification / Pass Drug Test)
- SEASONAL (as needed basis - most flexible)
- Quality Assurance (Checking mail packages for accuracy)
- Make Ready (Kitting for vendors to pick-up and complete)
- Handout and Check-in (Assisting vendors in checking out and in completed work)
Production Team Member position rate of pay range is $15.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience (BOE). Overtime available during peak season. Full-time team members enjoy additional benefits such as paid time off, paid holidays and health insurance.

Production Associate day-to-day:
- The scope of the role of production operators is to ensure daily equipment operation with a focus on producing high quality, on-time and cost-efficient products
- Each operator will participate in activities to promote continuous improvement across all departments
- Participate in continuous improvement teams across the operation to improve key performance indicators
- Monitor and operate equipment, clean production area, and maintain production standards
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Production Associate requirements:
- Physical Ability requirements may include frequent standing up to 8 hours per day, walking, bending, stooping, and twisting
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perceive quality of work, read material and review documents; receive and follow instructions
- 1-3 year’s production experience, manufacturing experience or equivalent type work a plus.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills and be a team player
- Must comply with safety requirements.
Production Associate position rate of pay starts at $15.00 and up per hour with consideration for experience and skills. Overtime available during peak season.
