Job Description:

Position Overview

The position is responsible for planning the maintenance team's work load as well as purchasing maintenance parts and keeping inventory control. Requires logging asset information as well as identifying and inspecting part and machinery conditions. The role works in a fast paced, safe, industrial maintenance team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and schedule work orders and preventative maintenance using computerized maintenance management software
  • Order parts, keep inventory, have the ability to identify spare parts
  • Conduct research and work with best total cost solutions
  • Monitor, create, and edit preventative maintenance needs
  • Verify that preventative maintenance work is sufficient and completed on time
  • Support all facility maintenance as required
  • Any and all other duties assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous CMMS experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts
  • Knowledge of OSHA's requirements for working in an industrial setting
  • Committed to working safely and the safety of other team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements of the Job

Physical requirements of the job are classified as medium to heavy. Physical demand requirements are in excess of light work. Medium to heavy work is defined as:

  • 10 to 40 pounds of force frequently, may include pushing, pulling and lifting
  • 40 to 100 pounds of force occasionally with assistance of machinery or others to move objects
  • Ability to stand on concrete for 10+ hours per shift

  • Ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a responsible manner
  • Ability to recognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions to minimize risks
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential business and product information
  • Ability to have acceptable attendance for company standard; provides adequate notification; aware of impact on organization

The salary range for this position is $44,000 - $66,000 annually. All eligible Team Members will be offered health insurance (medical, dental, vision, Rx), life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), short-term and long-term disability, extended leave options, paid time off, company holidays, 401k matching, employee stock purchase plan, legal assistance, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement and discount programs.
