Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000
What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
- Responsible for the forecast generation for assigned category/channel.
- Drive yearly improvements in demand accuracy through continued focus on process improvements (customer level forecasting, demand sensing and shaping techniques, etc)
- Compile and analyze historical data, market trends, promotions and opportunities.
- Studies purchase trends against promotions and seasonal performance.
- Coordinates and synchronizes new product introductions with brand, sales and key retailers.
- Use and maintain current demand-planning systems to create the best forecast possible using established processes.
- Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics.
- Manage statistical forecast exceptions by utilizing demand-planning reports to identify and fix potential issues.
- Communicate forecast confidence, including risks and opportunities, to relevant functional groups.
- Preparation of relevant reporting/presentations utilized but not limited to monthly forecast alignment and demand reviews.
- Conduct accuracy analyses to maintain validity of forecast and assumptions.
- Develop and analyze metrics in concert with customer that track forecast performance.
- Report adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement
- Assist with daily/weekly report generation and deliver ad-hoc reports as required.
- Travel Required - up to 15%
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need (Qualifications):
- BA/BS with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management, Category Management, Marketing or related degree, OR equivalent experience
- 3 years Planning or Supply Chain experience.
- APICS or IBF certification desired
- Consumer products industry and/or manufacturing support experience a plus
- Experience with S&OP Process Improvement
