Position Duties:
Must have strong mechanical background. Able and willing to work in a heavy duty/industrial machine shop environment. Work effectively as a part of the Engineering team to manufacture, assemble, and test various machines and test articles. Complete assigned tasks and projects to meet customer requirements and expectations within time and budget constraints. Resolve issues, report observations, and results to customers and engineers with high degree of quality and professionalism. Keep test facility and operational areas in order, maintain equipment, and work area in compliance with 5S protocol. Prepare and store necessary test documents in AS9100 standard. Must be a US citizen . High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience with an industrial/mechanical background; or equivalent combination of education/experience. Experienced with manual machining (Bridgeport mill, Lathe, etc.) preferred but not required. Basic electrical knowledge. Must be able to read engineering blueprints (mechanical required, electrical desired). Must be able to use tools such as torque wrenches and power tools.
