We are a locally run, family-oriented, proudly serving your community, and are looking for talented techs like you to grow with us!WHAT YOULL DOPerform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.WHAT WE OFFER YOUFirst and second shifts availableHealth, Dental and Vision PlansFSA and HSA optionsVarious life insurance optionsSupplemental insurance plans401K with company matchPaid time offThe CompanyEpika is a network of mobile and in-shop preventative maintenance service centers focused on commercial fleets across the country. For more information, visit YOULL NEED TO HAVEMinimum of 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.Communication skillsAbility to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when neededValid Drivers License required.Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skillsAbility to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.2 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.Basic computer skills.Must possess proper toolsWHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUTHigh School education or equivalentCertifications are a plusWelding experienceCDL, a plusWorking Conditions:* Working in the outdoors* Working under extreme weather conditions* Extreme Heat/Cold /HumidityThe ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
