The Field Service Technician will be primarily responsible for onsite assistance in migrating acquired firms to Alera’s Enterprise IT standard. Candidates must be organized, energetic, have a strong customer service personality, love nationwide travel, and be well versed and experienced in Windows environments and networking.

• Travel nationally up to 75% of your time to new offices to install or swap out IT, VoIP & video conferencing equipment.
• Document and audit acquired firms’ technology estate.
• Troubleshoot basic network and IT Systems, including audio / video systems.
• Assist with onboarding of acquisitions by providing end-user and systems support.
• Work closely with other members of the implementation team on new acquisitions.
• Interface with vendors and partners to evaluate and implement onsite solutions including structured cabling and other IT systems.

• Associate’s degree or higher, preferably in an IT, CS, or MIS field.
• Must be willing to travel nationwide as needed.
• Have a minimum of 3 years experience as a systems support technician.
• Experience with networking in a Windows environment, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and other related technologies.
• Understand audio/video components in a corporate environment, preferably Zoom Rooms.
• Extensive experience documenting technology environments.
• Have a reliable method of transportation.
• Ability to be on call and work off-hours, as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Demonstrated problem solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. of equipment.
