Communicating with other departments and other maintenance shifts to ensure proper pass down of maintenance related issues to the next shift Documenting daily work assigned on paper and in the maintenance management system (SAP) Troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision and communicate the status of the equipment to maintenance management and other departments Utilize parts in inventory to repair equipment and follow procedures in documenting what is issued out Required Qualifications Must be eligible to work in the united states without visa sponsorship Must be 18 years or older Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal & written) Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) Ability to operate and set up machines using manuals Ability to troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions on production equipment and show mechanical aptitude Have basic computer skills and ability to use basic hand tools Ability to use or learn how to operate a forklift and other motorized equipment Preferred Qualifications 1 year previous production or maintenance experience Meat processing experience Food handling experience Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
