We are locally run, family-oriented, proudly serving your community, and are looking for talented techs like you to grow with us!WHAT YOULL DOPerform diagnostics and troubleshooting of all components of the truck/body including hydraulic systems, PTOs, electrical, HVAC, brake, engine, suspension and mechanical portions.Clean and maintain assigned work areas, including common shop areas and facility grounds, e.g., maintain recyclables, address fluid spills, and organize bulk storage of tires and barrels.Dispense vehicle fuels and other essential fluids.Complete required forms and input required information into the fleet management information system in a timely manner.Perform road tests on trucks to assist with problem isolation or to verify repairs.Perform routine preventive maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment, including but not limited to: lubrication and oil changes; seat repair; brake, wheel, tire, and battery services; belt, hose, headlight, and basic component replacement.Perform basic to intermediate skill-level repair work on diesel trucks and equipment, including but not limited to the alternator, starter, water pump replacement, and auxiliary equipment installation.Perform intermediate to advanced troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical/electrical problems.Perform warranty repairs and diagnostics.Comply with all safety regulations, policies and local, state and federal regulations.WHAT YOULL NEED TO HAVE5+ years of verified experience as a Class A Diesel Mechanic experienceValid Drivers License with acceptable, clean driving recordAbility to lift 100+ poundsBasic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billingFollow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasksBasic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair ordersOwn toolsWHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUTExperience with weldingHigh School Diploma or equivalentClass A CDLWHAT WE OFFER YOUPaid Time Off including holidays401(k) with company match after 90 days of employmentMedical, Dental and Vision plansDisability InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee assistance programBoot reimbursement programsTool reimbursement programFamily oriented company that believes in a true work/life balanceSave on commute costs take your truck home with you!Fuel cardExperienced team you can learn fromLocally-run, family-oriented businessOpportunities for growth in partner businesses nationwideHourly pay w/ incentives - no flat rateBonus/ Incentives program with high earning potentialM-F & some Saturdays, as neededTime and a half on holidaysAbout the BrandCS Truck & Trailer Repair is the one-stop-shop for all your truck and trailer maintenance and repair needs.
