*Role Summary:*

As a Staff Nurse in our residential inpatient program, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to individuals with substance use disorders, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will be an integral part of providing safe, patient-centric care, ensuring that our patients receive the support and treatment they need for successful recovery.
* *Patient Assessment:* Conduct thorough assessments of patients with substance use disorders, including medical and mental health evaluations.
* *Medication Management:* Administer and monitor medications, including those used for addiction treatment, and provide education to patients.
* *Patient-Centered Care:* Develop individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs of each patient and their substance use history.
* *Clinical Support:* Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and other medical procedures as necessary.
* *Education and Counseling:* Educate patients about addiction, recovery, and healthy lifestyle choices. Offer support and encouragement for their treatment journey.
* *Collaboration:* Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and behavioral health technicians, to ensure holistic care.
* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
* *Patient Advocacy:* Advocate for the needs of patients, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and support.

*Qualifications:*
* Current and valid RN Nurse license in the state.
* Previous experience in substance use treatment and addiction medicine is a strong asset.
* Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
* Empathy, patience, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
* Understanding of the principles of addiction treatment.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
