POSITION SUMMARY

A technology specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's technology systems infrastructure, ensuring the efficiency of computer systems to meet project deliverables, and preventing delays in business operations. This is an in-person position with very little remote/hybrid work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for maintaining and supporting multiple data collection and reporting tools and processes in Google Workspace.
Setup, configure, and support desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones using a variety of operating systems.
Setup, configure, and support AV and VoIP systems and equipment
Maintaining and updating agency website(s) and DNS
Set up and manage employee accounts in multiple platforms
Coordinate product and service acquisition with vendors
Support admin staff in processing online directory changes.
Promote effective use of technology across the organization.
Train employees on technology systems, equipment and procedures
Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and data restoration as needed.
Develop and maintain a hardware inventory for the organization.
Participate in discussions around software and systems/process changes as the organization grows
Collaborate with agency leadership on data management strategy, including but not limited to document storage, form standardization, and digital file organization.

Complete duties assigned by supervisor or designee.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
3 years’ experience in set-up, configuration, maintenance and support of desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones using a variety of operating systems and/or equivalent education
3 years’ experience providing software support in data management systems/platforms and/or equivalent education
Ability to assist co-workers in a patient manner with navigating technological issues
Ability to articulate solutions to technological problems in a way that is understandable to most people
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize independently
Ability to learn independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the field of I/DD preferred
Experience or familiarity with Google Admin Console and Workspace
Experience or familiarity with Voice over IP systems
Experience or familiarity with Javascript
Experience or familiarity with IT security procedures
compTIA A+ certification or equivalent
