About the role A unique career opportunity, offered on a permanent, full time basis, has arisen for an experienced Systems Accountant to enter an ASX200 company and contribute to key business outcomes within a team of finance and business intelligence professionals. The Elders Finance Systems and Data Analytics Team (FiSDA) is in an exciting growth phase, with an essential part in the current ERP implementation project as well as supporting and driving other key corporate strategic objectives. As a Systems Accountant in the Elders FiSDA Team, you will use your qualified accounting knowledge, experience, commercial acumen and technology expertise to deliver highly efficient and optimised information solutions across the business. Responsibilities As a Systems Accountant, you will: Manage master data in Elders ERP environment including Masterpiece General Ledger, MS D365 and other key finance systems Administer systems support processes to assist users in meeting finance obligations (Month End, Year End, user queries, etc.) Monitor and continuously improve data accuracy to ensure financial reporting integrity, comprehensiveness, and process efficiencies Ensure effective communication between Finance, IT and the business stakeholders regarding technical and financial data issues Assist with system integrations, monitor transactional interfaces integrity, system implementations and process improvements. Collaborate with the team in developing, maintaining and improving financial reports, Board Packs, statutory consolidation processes, data analysis and visualisation Support financial forecasting processes, budgeting and other analytical models. Support data driven business decision making for finance and operational requirements About You Experience in: ERP master data management and maintenance concepts, advanced Excel, VBA, Financial reporting development, and analytical reporting (Essential) Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business MIS / Computer Science qualifications and/or CA / CPA (or studying towards) are desirable Minimum 2 years’ experience in commerce or public practice preferably in a systems accounting role Practical understanding of accounting logic and data flows in accounting systems A robust approach to problem solving, process discipline, structured workflow & prioritisation methodology, and process ownership. Strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to financial data integrity (Desirable) Experience in: MS D365 ERP, Masterpiece ERP, SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) – Microsoft version, Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, Snowflake Data Platform, SharePoint administration and SQL Query Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills i.e. able to translate complex financial and IT processes into simple language Ability to problem solve, operate and think proactively as well as independently Can work in a hybrid environment where both autonomous and collaborative work styles are required Process improvement mindset and knowledge of best practice methodologies such as DMAIC, Agile, Lean, etc About Elders Elders is proud to be the last Australian-listed major agribusiness.
