They’ve tasked us with sourcing their Financial Controller, a brand new role that sits below a highly experienced Finance Director but with strong potential for the successful candidate to succeed this person (2-3 year action plan). This is a pivotal role within the company and one where the successful candidate will work closely with the existing Finance Director, assuming key operational responsibility for the day-to-day success of the finance function. We are looking for a world-class Senior Finance & Accounting Manager to manage a variety of accounting and finance management tasks at Cozymeal. The individual in this role is expected to be experienced enough to own individual projects and work independently with limited supervision.
The individual in this role will be working directly with the company's CEO. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to own and execute on projects end-to-end and doesn't shy away from asking questions whenever something is not clear.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure timely completion of company’s monthly/annual books
Organize and manage all finances of the company
Work with the CEO on all financial matters
Monitor daily financial transactions
Help prepare the company's tax filings
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
