About the Role
An exciting time to join our team as an experienced Systems Accountant to manage and optimise our systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. About Your Role
You will be an integral member of a core project team to implement new GL/ERP and financial reporting systems.
Manage data governance framework for GL/ERP system and interface with divisional operational systems.
Review, recommend and drive projects that improve and automate our financial systems, including reporting on improvements after the implemented changes.
Implement controls for internal systems (policies, procedures, and efficiency improvements).
Review policies and procedures for financial systems.
Pull data from multiple data sets/sources, build dashboards and data tables, and develop operational and analytical reporting.
Educate and provide ongoing support to all users to optimise the use of the GL/ERP system.

The role
Reporting to our Financial Accounting Manager, you will lead the delivery of Sunwater’s tax compliance activity in respect of all tax legislation and corporate requirements for tax effect accounting and tax governance. Job Summary:
As a Vice President in the Commercial and Investment banking Credit Risk team, you will focus on execution of transactions across acquisition & leveraged finance, vanilla and structured loans, derivatives, securities as well as liquidity and cash management products for a diversified portfolio of corporate, financial institutions and government clients. The credit risk team works closely with business partners from Commercial & Investment Banking, Debt and Equity Capital Markets, Markets and Wholesale Payments. It is the primary contributor and driver of credit analytics including risk rating determination, industry assessment (working with internal industry specialists) with a key focus on due diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation, and approval of such transactions. Credit officers are also responsible for ongoing credit monitoring and review work for all client facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Ongoing supervision and management of a portfolio of banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurers, governments and other financial industry participants with a range of products including derivatives, futures & options, intraday liquidity facilities, securitization warehouses, loan on loan facilities, treasury management products and securities trading/financing products.
Maintain strong industry knowledge and update key stakeholders on material developments (e.g. financial performance, market, industry, regulatory) with respect to clients and potential risk ratings impact/s.
Exercise a meaningful credit approval authority.
Mentor and develop junior CIB Credit Risk team members.
Take a lead role on new transactions in terms of credit analysis, client due diligence, structuring and negotiation of legal documentation.
Review and approve annual credit reviews (including macro-overview, industry/sector, regulatory, competitor, business and financial analysis) and recommend any changes required to risk ratings and credit facilities.
Interact closely with transaction stakeholders including client coverage and product bankers, credit executives and legal counsel.
Remain up to date on applicable firm-wide risk policies and support the governance, reporting and data quality requirements of the portfolio.
Support the team with ongoing ad-hoc initiatives and workstreams; and
Mentor and develop junior CIB Credit Risk team members.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
At least six years credit risk management experience covering financial institutions. Experience in securitization warehouses is a core requirement for this role and any experience with loan-on-loan transactions will be highly regarded.
Proven credit risk skills covering both qualitative and quantitative analysis and an ability to understand and analyse the financial statements of both bank and non-bank financial institutions including ratio analysis, accounting standards and financial adjustments.
Ability to take an active role in identifying key risks relating to clients, their industries and transaction structures.
Good understanding of the products generally used by financial institutions as well as related documentation (e.g. ISDA/CSA, GMRA, and others).
Effective written and verbal communication and people skills.
Ability to demonstrate excellent time management and clarity in thinking when dealing with multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to foster relationships and confidently interact with origination teams and other internal stakeholders.
Highly proficient in MS Excel with an ability to navigate through financial models, as well as other MS programs (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc); and
Undergraduate degree or post graduate qualifications in accounting, business, finance or a quantitative related discipline.
