Job Description:

As a Sales Rep, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify target clients and industries for sign and graphics solutions.
    • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other strategic methods.
    • Leverage incoming lead generation tools and marketing to generate profitable sales
  2. Client Engagement:
    • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their signage needs and present relevant solutions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and regular follow-ups.
    • At times – engage with customer outside normal standard hours to support client and business deliverables
  3. Sales Negotiation and Project Award
    • Prepare and present persuasive proposals, addressing client requirements and showcasing the value of our products and services.
    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Close sales deals and achieve sales targets
  4. Internal Collaboration and Project Delivery:
    • Work closely with internal teams such as design, production and installation to ensure seamless execution and delivery of sign and graphics projects.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, market insights, and contribute to overall team success.
    • Product Delivery Follow-Up
  5. Market Analysis and Reporting:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the sign and graphics industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of signage products, printing technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – in-person, phone and digital
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently toward agreed upon goals and objectives
  • Willingness to travel within 45 miles of Davenport, Iowa
