As a Sales Rep, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify target clients and industries for sign and graphics solutions.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other strategic methods.
- Leverage incoming lead generation tools and marketing to generate profitable sales
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their signage needs and present relevant solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and regular follow-ups.
- At times – engage with customer outside normal standard hours to support client and business deliverables
- Sales Negotiation and Project Award
- Prepare and present persuasive proposals, addressing client requirements and showcasing the value of our products and services.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Close sales deals and achieve sales targets
- Internal Collaboration and Project Delivery:
- Work closely with internal teams such as design, production and installation to ensure seamless execution and delivery of sign and graphics projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, market insights, and contribute to overall team success.
- Product Delivery Follow-Up
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to the management team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the sign and graphics industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of signage products, printing technologies, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – in-person, phone and digital
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently toward agreed upon goals and objectives
- Willingness to travel within 45 miles of Davenport, Iowa
