Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

DTC (Direct to Consumer) Marketing Planning delivers plans, processes and capabilities, aligned with the strategy, to ensure a premium consumer experience. The aspiration is to define and build a consistent DTC and retail strategy and direction, leading to one seamless experience across all consumer touch points.

Working in close coordination with the Sr. Manager Retail Marketing Planning to support the overall planning and coordination of the US retail calendar, facilitating inputs from various teams and stakeholders. Responsible for improving the consumer ecosystem alignment and the reporting and intake process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the DTC Marketing Planning team in delivering seasonal plans and executing the seasonal activation strategy during market and global milestones with a focus on retail.
  • Coordinate across the DTC Marketing & Media teams to secure inputs and feedback into seasonal plans and to capture in-season market deviations.
  • Understand the nuances of store operations, business, and resource realities, in order to help build an impactful seasonal plan.
  • Partner with global and local teams to gain visibility into their comms looks, flag risks and find solutions by finding alternative articles and aligning investments with the buying team
  • Maintain and own the local activation calendar based on market priorities, business needs, and deviations. Ensure data accuracy across all planning tools as well as continuous updates and optimization.
  • Track and manage status & operations of all retail campaigns with clear action items, key deliverables for stores, and communication with cross-functional teams through recurring briefings to build efficiencies and transparency.
  • Support local prioritization of retail campaigns, including the ongoing intake of new business opportunities and support in resource planning as well as pro-active flagging of risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Performance Marketing (PM), Content, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) teams to capture planned needs and support on-time in full (OTIF) delivery to meet planned activations and deadlines.
  • Closely collaborate with buying teams to ensure product coverage for local key moments and content used in activations.
  • Ensure coverage of key articles in retail for mega commercial moments such as Holiday and Back to School in alignment with the product planning pillar on the team
  • Drive retrospective Analytics reporting needs to compile key learnings, insights, and measure the success of the plan in order to give effective operational feedback to our partners.
  • Partner with global + local teams to advocate and rollout new planning platforms and processes, with a goal of building omnichannel efficiencies.

  • Retail and Media acumen, ability to understand consumer behavior
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines with strong organizational skills and proactive management.
  • Previous experience in Project Management / Marketing Planning / DTC / Retail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and prioritize project/initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • A track record of stakeholder management
  • High resilience and solution oriented attitude
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
  • Fluent in English

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Four year college or university degree preferably in a Marketing/Business/Digital/Retail discipline
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Project Management, Marketing Planning, Retail
