About the role

The Marketing Events Manager is a key driver in shaping our lead acquisition and lead nurturing efforts through virtual and in-person events in the B2B space. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated history of executing successful events, leading teams, and delivering impactful results. This is a high profile and core strategic role within the marketing organization, requiring strategic acumen and close collaboration with internal stakeholders across marketing, business development, sales and client engagement teams

What you'll do

  • Serve as a primary marketing point of contact and face of the organization with marquee industry trade shows, conferences and other events
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic event plans to drive the acquisition and nurturing of leads through the marketing and sales pipeline
  • Management of one or more team members, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while providing mentorship for professional growth
  • Oversee vendor relationships and preferred partners, ensuring the highest standards of quality, execution and results delivery
  • Work with ELT and client leaders in development of event content strategy and presentation materials
  • Forge strong partnerships with internal partners including marketing, sales, business development, and client engagement to ensure seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals
  • Drive innovation and creative strategy in event planning and execution to differentiate the Quantum Health brand and maximize impact
  • Monitor and analyze event performance metrics and events budget to drive positive ROI and optimize future strategies
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required; preferred areas of study are marketing, communications or business administration
  • At least 6 years marketing program experience with at least 2 years leading the planning and execution of industry conferences and trade shows
  • Healthcare, insurance or employer-sponsored benefits experience preferred
  • Able to balance strategic content planning with the need to deliver on a tight deadline
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presentation building experience
  • Experience in vendor/supplier/partner management or a partner business model preferred
  • Proven ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared objectives
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving organization
  • Strategic, energetic, proactive thinker and doer who brings new ideas forward
  • Able to travel and attend conferences as needed
  • Protect and take care of our company and member's data every day by committing to work within our company ethics and policies.
  • Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
  • Trustworthy and accountable behavior, capable of viewing and maintaining confidential information daily.
