Description

Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance, is looking for a full time Manager of Revenue Cycle Management, based out of our Rocky Hill headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding healthcare practice and continue to grow as a leader in RCM. The RCM Manager will work collaboratively with other members of the RCM team to manage all aspects of day to day billing for the Practice. Additional responsibilities include:

Coordinate and direct the daily activities of the billing department, including coding, charge entry, payment posting and claim resolution.
Work with Supervisor/Team Leads to review productivity, identify areas of opportunity for improvement and facilitate teamwork.
Monitor work queues, ensuring charge submission and accounts receivable follow-up is occurring on a timely basis meeting targeted deadlines and goals.
Monitor billing dashboards and reports including but not limited to reconciliation of missing charges, rejection/denials, reconciliation of daily deposits and external collections.
Assist in preparing and analyzing weekly and monthly financial and accounts receivable reports.
Prepare and review periodic reports of performance metrics.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of revenue cycle management. Prior supervisory experience is required.
Experience working in medical billing and collections in a health system or medical practice
Solid knowledge and understanding of revenue cycle, collections and payment posting, medical billing, Medicare and Medicaid and third-party payers
Thorough knowledge and working experience of CPT and ICD 10 codes, HCFA 1500, HIPAA, medical terminology, appeal processes, billing and insurance regulations and insurance benefits.
Proficient in EMR software and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
