The Global Corporate Controller reports directly to the CFO and functions as a hands-on leader within the Finance and Administration team. The Global Controller is responsible for the U.S. based and international accounting, SEC and local regulatory compliance and financial reporting functions which include multiple entities. This role directs and develops the organization's international accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.

What You Will Do:
  • Ownership over all accounting functions across the global organization, including finance teams located in the US, Argentina, UK and Israel.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, offering financial insights and recommendations to support the achievement of organizational goals
  • This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer
  • Ensure accurate presentation of annual and quarterly financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and SEC rules, as well as other public releases of financial data and regulatory filings
  • Responsible for accounting, revenue recognition, tax and payroll functions
  • Partner with business, financial operations and FP&A to understand new transactions and business evolution to evaluate accounting implications
  • Must have strong experience with developing, implementing and automating processes and controls in a changing environment
  • Take a lead role in migration of accounting system from legacy platform to NetSuite to meet reporting requirements of business
  • Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal teams to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit cycle.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies across the organization, mitigating financial risks and maintaining SOX compliance
  • Manage the month-end close and consolidation process and the preparation and reporting of timely monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Monitor foreign exchange impact on financial statements and implement strategies to manage currency risk
  • Maintain compliance with City, State, and other local regulations across geographies
  • Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and contribute to their career growth.
  • Additional responsibilities and projects as needed

What You Will Need:
  • Combined 10+ years of relevant public and private accounting experience
  • Comprehensive & well-rounded technical GAAP accounting skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Prior experience in a controllership role in a technology or media company
  • Strong preference for public company experience
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organization and with external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of financial accounting applications, Netsuite accounting software experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on individual willing to be immersed in all aspects of the finance function
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Accounting or related field
  • CPA required

  • The base pay range for this position is $250,000 - $275,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid and titled depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
  • This position is eligible for quarterly bonuses based on specified benchmarks, in accordance with all applicable bonus terms and conditions
