Monthly Obligations:

  • Ensure highest quality service and standards to each guest and Team Member
  • Review monthly budget for allotted cleaning supplies and linen expense items, and order new supplies as necessary within the outlined budget
  • Oversee all Housekeeping Staff and provide appropriate work schedules and shifts that are within the outlined budget and ensure that the property maintains the highest quality cleanliness and appearance
  • Monitor appearance of Housekeeping Staff to ensure staff is following the uniform policy and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Department to ensure that outlined preventative maintenance needs in the guestrooms and common areas are being followed and report any feedback from guests and team members to the Maintenance Department and/or General Manager for any immediate repairs to property or equipment
  • Perform a monthly inventory on supplies to control costs and ensure property amounts of supplies are on hand. In general all linens and supplies should be at a 2.0 PAR minimum.

Weekly Obligations:

  • Ensure that the laundry room and supply closets are well organized and provide a pleasant work environment
  • Monitor inventories for supplies and linens to make sure we are staying within budget guidelines.
  • Investigate any reported accidents or injuries at the property by other team members or guests and complete a detailed incident report including any recommendations for the property that may improve safety and working conditions.
  • Work closely with Maintenance Department on the outlined preventative maintenance schedule
  • Spend adequate time overseeing all common areas in and around the property to ensure high quality appearance at all times

Daily Obligations:

  • Walk around the property each day and remove any clutter, trash or debris from any landscaping shrubs, trees, grass, or bushes.
  • Ensure all entrances to the property are free of any and all clutter, trash, debris
  • Ensure common areas are cleaned and maintain a high quality appearance
  • Ensure each occupied guest rooms is cleaned appropriately and within standards.
  • Greet every guest that you may encounter with a pleasant smile or salutation such as “Good Morning” or “How was your stay”?
  • Respond quickly to any and all guest complaints or specific needs that we are able to accommodate
