PC Construction Company is one of the nation´s largest employee-owned contractors offering general contracting, construction, construction management, and design/build services to private and public clients on projects of all sizes — from a single office fit-up to treatment plants valued at over $250 million.


With a main office in South Burlington, Vermont, and regional offices in North Carolina and Maine, we manage numerous project offices up and down the east coast and boast a five-year annual volume average of over $500 million.


Our team of 1,000 employees hails from every craft and expertise in the field, allowing us to combine innovative construction methods and accountable project management to get the job done, and to get it done right. To do this, we work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients at every stage of the process. On June 1, 2011, Pizzagalli Construction Company officially changed its name to PC Construction Company. As many of you know we’ve referred to ourselves informally as “PC” for decades. We see this official name change as a natural progression that reflects the leadership and ownership evolution our company has experienced over the last decade or so. It began when brothers Angelo, Jim, and Remo Pizzagalli formally transitioned leadership responsibilities to the company’s senior officials in 1998 and gradually divested their ownership in the company to allow it to become 100% employee owned in 2009. The name change to PC Construction Company reflects the shift from a small, family business started in 1958 to a thriving company that is now fully owned by the employees of the company.
