We are seeking a Recruiting Analyst to join our New York office to assist with the recruitment and support of our Attorneys in the New York area.

The Role:

The Recruiting Analyst plays an integral role in the overall success of the New York office and our ability to expand our business.  Not only will you be afforded a high degree of independence, but also the opportunity to work with an amazing group of fun and talented people.

The Analyst will:

  • Manage multiple aspects of the attorney recruiting process (with a heavy emphasis on sourcing), including research, candidate name generation, applicant screening, scheduling interviews, and overall management of targeted searches and outreach.
  • Identify talent through passive and active sources including postings, social networking, internet research, referrals, and cold calling, including ATS, social media, user groups, professional associations and direct recruiting.
  • Develop competitive intelligence knowledge base of desired practice areas, companies, and details on each.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact with new attorneys by offering them a short introduction to our business model and attorney value proposition.
  • Support recruiting team in analyzing client demand and implementing recruiting strategies based on practice area, experience level, and geography.
  • Maintain our recruiting database and prepare ongoing reports on various recruiting metrics.
  • Research and analyze attorney compensation packages.
  • Partner with internal business teams in the execution of strategic recruiting initiatives.

 

Our ideal candidate:

A top-tier college graduate with 0-1+ years of professional experience and an interest in the legal industry and/or human resources.  This is a position for someone who loves to connect with people, exhibits outstanding judgment and professionalism, possesses excellent analytical skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.  The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, extremely analytical, enjoy proactively developing and running with new initiatives, and comfortable managing projects independently.  This position requires the confidence to contact and interact with experienced professionals and speak to them about what we do in a credible and compelling way.

 

Experience and Qualifications

 

  • Prior experience that demonstrates comfort in communicating with sophistication and confidence. High-impact presentation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Project management skills and pays meticulous attention to detail.
  • Innate ability to build relationships.
  • A tremendous amount of initiative, multi-tasking, and  organizational skills. Demonstrable intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness.
  • Superb time management, decision-making and problem solving skills.

Education

 

  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier college/university is required.
