Must have at least five years of experience as an administrative assistant.
Must have strong Word and Excel skills. Candidates will be tested in both.
Must have great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Should be extremely organized and detail oriented.
Logistics experience required. 
Ability in comprehending complex business processes and system designs.
Should have a great phone voice, and have the ability to act personable and professional on the phone with customers.
Be able to perform large volume of data entry.
Familiarity with broker bill process and inventory accounting/control
Capable of leading special projects when assigned.
Occasionally lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Partner with purchasing department to assist the follow thru of open purchase order management.
Communicate with overseas vendors or shipping agents daily to arrange the delivery of inventory in accordance with our purchase orders.
Work with ocean carriers and forwarders to ensure proper booking and tracking of containers.
Manage the regulatory compliance of commercial documents with custom brokers to ensure on-time custom clearance and container release.
Follow through inventory receiving processes to provide accurate information for all users.
Partner with accounting department to maintain accurate record keeping, on-time payables, and inventory integrity with inbound container freight.

Salary: $14-$15 an hour, DOE
Hours: Monday -- Friday, 8 - 5
