Provides support with the daily activities of a business office including filing, telephone coverage, assisting with reports and appointment scheduling. 

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Organizes and maintains a filing system, sorting mail, assisting with report writing.
* Answers telephone and either responds to inquiry, directs caller to appropriate personnel.
* Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler.
* Prepares all billings in computerized system for processing by finance.

Education and/or Experience 
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience as an Administrative Assistant in a health care setting preferred.
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
* Ability to write simple correspondence.
