ACXIOM CORPORATION

This position is under the direction of the Branch Manager. The selected candidate will be able to perform a variety of duties in the Parts room, handle Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables functions and maintain various files as needed.  The incumbent will be able to prepare and/or maintain Excel and Word documents for correspondence, forms, orders, etc.  The individual must be able to display professionalism and use tact on the telephone when talking to customers and other employees. Individual must be cross trained in all office administration functions. The candidate will perform various other clerical functions as necessary. General 
Duties:

Receiving in-bound shipments from vendors and other Hobart Branches.
Prepare parts and equipment for delivery.
If assigned receiving and/or warehouse duties, maintain area(s) in a well-organized manner, including keeping area(s) clean.
Assist with stocking and pulling parts, keeping equipment and supplies in proper locations, checking inventories, and/or some other function in the inventory control system.
Prepare invoices from service orders.
May type credit memos, issue purchase orders and maintain logs.
Follow up on credit applications.
File numerical copies of Service Ticket (F-595) and monitor numerical check-off sheet.
Check service vehicle summaries and match gas tickets to billings.
Perform various service contract job functions such as preparing contracts from service tickets, preparing and mailing new contract requests on new and used equipment, including warranty expirations and maintaining contract files.
Handle parts counter sales and prepare invoices for customers.
Perform dispatching duties as needed.
Perform admin duties as needed.
Perform various other clerical functions in the Parts areas, as necessary.
Inventory and maintain shop equipment including delivery vehicles, hand trucks and forklifts.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
0 – 1 year experience in office administration functions, shipping/receiving clerk or general clerical position.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
