The Inside Sales representative will be responsible to qualify and close leads from both existing and new customers that come from a variety of sources (including software downloads). Work the sales pipeline through to close. Upsell, cross sell and qualify larger opportunities.   The ideal candidate will be comfortable and effective on the telephone and have strong communication skills. This position is an entry level sales position. We pride ourselves on having an awesome working environment, working with the best people, and using the latest and greatest technology. 

 

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

 

·         Responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly revenue targets.

·         Manage high lead volume by following up on all leads within 24 hours.

·         Set strategy and tactics for managing a specific territory and associated sales revenue in the territory by developing clear territory plans.

·         Keep prospect information current in the salesforce.com database.

·         Verify and confirm orders in Salesforce.com.

·         Stay current with email and web based content security technology and competition.

·         Ability to handle a large volume of inbound calls as well as outbound follow up and close.

·         Ability to pro-actively team with Outside Account Managers for sales and marketing activities.

·         Stay current with Information Optimization and Visual Data Discovery technology and competition.

·         Work closely with marketing to cultivate opportunities in the territory.

 

Qualifications:

 

·         0-5 years experience in Sales or Sales Support

·         College Degree or equivalent experience

  • BA/BS degree
  • Must be high energy, outgoing and capable of making a high volume of phone calls
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong phone presence
  • Interest in software sales
