National Labor Relations Board

The National Labor Relations Board was created by Congress to enforce the National Labor Relations Act, which protects the right of most private sector employees to engage in union activities, act together to change working conditions and refrain from any such activities.  Our internships for volunteer field examiners provide the opportunity to investigate unfair labor practice cases, conduct legal research, draft reports with recommendations and assist in conducting elections among employees in which they choose whether to be represented by a union.  For more info on internships, both paid and unpaid go to https://www.nlrb.gov/who-we-are/careers/job-descriptions-and-listings/student-positions-law-non-legal#Pathways
