A great way to know if an employer offers a great place to work is to ask the people who know the organizations best — their employees. For the past seven years, Glassdoor has awarded its Employees’ Choice Awards to honor the 50 best places to work.  For 2015, the 47th best place to work was GE Aviation.

In Evandale, Ohio, you will find the headquarters of GE Aviation, a subsidiary of GE Electric.  Founded in 1917, GE Aviation specializes in supplying aircraft engines and can provide engines to most commercial aircraft.  The company represents a piece of the conglomerate that is General Electric, which is one of the biggest corporations in the world.  Until September 2005, what is now GE Aviation was named General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE).
