For the past seven years, Glassdoor has awarded its Employees’ Choice Awards to honor the 50 best places to work.  For 2015, the 40th best place to work was Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.

The headquarters of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (also known as BMS) are located in New York City.  A pharmaceutical company, Bristol-Myers Squibb is responsible for producing prescription medication in therapeutic areas, which include cancer, HIV/AIDS, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hepatitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and psychiatric disorders.  In 1989, BMS was created thanks to a merger of Bristol-Myers and the Squibb Corporation.  The company mission is described as to “discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.”  Research and development sites for BMS are located in the United States, and around the world, including India and Japan.
