Zillow logoIt is important to most of us that we enjoy our work but difficult to know when you’re looking for a job whether we’ll be happier working for one employer versus another. A great way to know if an employer offers a great place to work is to ask the people who know the organizations best — their employees. For the past seven years, Glassdoor has awarded its Employees’ Choice Awards to honor the 50 best places to work.  For 2015, the 33rd best place to work was Zillow Group.

The headquarters of online real estate database company, Zillow Group, are located in Seattle, Washington at Russell Investments Center.  Previously Microsoft executives, Rich Barton and Lloyd Frink created Zillow, which was founded in 2005.  These two founders also established Expedia.  Today, the CEO of Zillow, Inc. is Spencer Rascoff and the Chief Economist is Stan Humphries.

Why work at Zillow Group?  You will feel welcomed to the company.  Zillow believes in moving fast and thinking big.  You will get to be creative and be part of a team in a modern workplace.  While there is a culture of working hard, you can also have fun.  Some of the reasons employees enjoy the company include the gym, holiday celebrations, an annual talent show, game room, and relaxed dress code.

If you are looking for job opportunities at Zillow Group, look in the following areas:

  • Business
  • Sales
  • Technology
  • University (opportunities for interns, recent graduates, and MBA students)
