Adobe logoIt is important to most of us that we enjoy our work but difficult to know when you’re looking for a job whether we’ll be happier working for one employer versus another. A great way to know if an employer offers a great place to work is to ask the people who know the organizations best — their employees. For the past seven years, Glassdoor has awarded its Employees’ Choice Awards to honor the 50 best places to work.  For 2015, the 18th best place to work was Adobe Systems Incorporated.

San Jose, California is home to the headquarters of Adobe Systems Incorporated, a U.S. multinational computer software company.  Established in February 1982 by founders John Warnock and Charles Geschke, Adobe’s focus has been providing multimedia and creativity software products.  You may know the company best for its Portable Document Format or PDF and Adobe Creative Suite, which was followed by Adobe Creative Cloud.  Today, Adobe employs around 13,500 workers with close to 40% of them being in San Jose.  Some other locations include New York City, Orlando, Florida, and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Why would you work at Adobe Systems Incorporated?  You will be encouraged to be creative and think outside the box.  Another reason is the opportunity to work in teams with people who are respected for their knowledge and talent.  Career development is also valued, with employees getting the chance to reach their potential.  Adobe also has an inclusive and open culture that perceives workers as its best asset and believes in engagement.

Adobe Systems Incorporated has opportunities for both college students and recent graduates.  For graduates looking for jobs, they can be found in business, marketing, and MBA graduates with experience in high tech, software, consulting, or marketing can also find positions.  Qualified students can get the following types of internships:

  • Technical
  • MBA
  • Business
