FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Minneapolis, Minnesota, October 23, 2007 - CollegeRecruiter.com, the leading career site used by students and recent graduates searching for internships and career opportunities, announced today that it has left the Beyond.com network in order to have more control over its products and pricing. CollegeRecruiter.com will continue to use the job search and resume bank software provided by Beyond.com and the two organizations will continue to work together to provide products and services for candidates and recruiters but by mid-November resumes and jobs posted to CollegeRecruiter.com will no longer be accessible to visitors using sites in the Beyond network and vice versa.

"We've enjoyed working with Beyond since we moved to their network 4.5 years ago," said Steven Rothberg, President and Founder of CollegeRecruiter.com. "We're leaving the Beyond network primarily because the employer clients who we work with have markedly different needs than many of the clients who use the vast majority of the sites that Beyond powers. Beyond has had to walk a bit of a tightrope in order to help us properly service the needs and wants of our employer clients yet also properly service the needs and wants of their employer clients. This evolution in our relationship will allow CollegeRecruiter.com to continue to grow and deliver the world class customer service that its clients demand and deserve."

In the short term, the biggest change that employers will see is that CollegeRecruiter.com is free to set its own pricing and publish the pricing for all of its job posting, resume searching, targeted email, cell phone text messaging, direct mail, and other products. On September 15, 2007, Beyond implemented a network-wide price increase that clients of CollegeRecruiter.com will now be immune from. The price increase, for example, led to a jump in job posting prices from $125 a little over a year ago to $175 to $250 for those posting jobs to any of the sites in the Beyond network. "I believe that the price increase was justified by the greatly increased value that Beyond was delivering to the vast majority of its clients, but I did not feel that it was in the best interests of CollegeRecruiter.com or its clients to increase our prices at this time," added Rothberg. "By opting out of the network, we're able to maintain our prices at a level that I feel is more appropriate for a college job board. We're also able to offer new products which aren't available through other sites in the Beyond network, such as an unlimited job posting package for $9,750."

Another significant change that employers and candidates will see is that resumes and jobs posted to CollegeRecruiter.com will no longer be accessible to users of the other sites in the Beyond network and vice versa. To ensure a quality user experience, CollegeRecruiter.com is in the process of implementing a number of strategic partnerships with other career sites. "These partnerships will result in a significant improvement in the quality of resumes and job postings for our clients," said Rothberg. "Employers and candidates will now have to look hard to find resumes from experienced candidates or job postings targeted to candidates with experience. When we were part of the network, those experienced resumes and postings were hard to avoid even though we are and always have been a college job board."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

San Francisco, CA, Oct. 17, 2007 - CareerTV, the nation's largest site for recruitment videos, and CollegeRecruiter.com, the leading career site used by students and recent graduates searching for internships and career opportunities, recently signed a partnership to provide even more services and information to college students and young professionals' job hunting.

"Very few employers are maximizing the way they brand themselves online so we are encouraging employers who post their jobs to CollegeRecruiter.com to include within those postings their recruitment videos. A job description combined with a recruitment video is a much more powerful message. Among those that have started to do so, the results are very, very encouraging," says Steven Rothberg, President and Founder of CollegeRecruiter.

"CareerTV and CollegeRecruiter.com, are targeting the same audience but offering different products for college students and young professionals," explains Jim Buttimer, COO at CareerTV in San Francisco. "We are very pleased with the results produced by the partnership so far."

"We're always looking for great, new content to offer to our visitors and the career videos from CareerTV fit perfectly with that goal," continues Rothberg.

The most recent trends point toward a rapid increase in recruitment videos by employers. These videos are referred to by a variety of names including: corporate videos, career videos, recruitment videos, and employer videos.

"I think Career TV is right on target with what employers need to differentiate themselves. Employer branding videos will become standard for all employers. If you don't realize this now, you've already lost your advantage", says Jim Stroud, an influential blogger and a frequent speaker in the HR industry. "Case in point, companies that use blogs to promote the jobs and culture of their enterprise are already reaping the benefits of active and passive jobseeker traffic and positive company branding. At the same time, their competitors are still wondering if they should be blogging at all. One could easily make that comparison with employer branding video; the early adopters are reaping the reward of attention from passive and active jobseekers while the laggards will wait until everyone else is successful before even trying it," adds Stroud.

"Nothing short of an in-person, face-to-face meeting can allow a candidate to understand the culture and environment of a potential place of employment as much as a video. They will improve the quantity and quality of responses that employers see," concludes Rothberg.
