William Frierson is an only child and lives in Florence, South Carolina. He proudly says that he was born to two loving and supportive parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Frierson, and they, along with William's extraordinary grandmother, Mrs. Nettles, helped to make William the person he is today. William speaks glowingly about his mother especially, as she continued to raise William since his father passed away in 1997. His beloved grandmother passed away in 2007.

William enjoys watching television, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Even though he never played baseball, he loves watching his favorite team, the Atlanta Braves. Another form of entertainment he loves to watch is professional wrestling, which he has been a fan of since about age seven. William graduated from high school in 2002 and earned his associate's degree in business marketing in 2005.
