My CollegeRecruiter.com | Employers & Advertisers
It is no secret that we're mired in the toughest job market in over a decade. Students and recent graduates are having difficulty finding internships, seasonal employment and career positions upon graduation.
That's why, in response to requests by college and university career service offices, radio shows and other organizations, I'm pleased to announce a new service from CollegeRecruiter.com.
Now, in an hour, your students can learn how to access the hidden job market and find a job in these tough times, as taught in convenient teleseminar, videoconference or webinar formats. If you prefer a teleseminar or webinar format, we will provide each of your participants with the access information so they can participate from their homes, offices, your office...anywhere with a phone.
Students who make good use of their career service offices are not the target of this service. Rather, our goal is to reach and teach those who don't know any better, who have given up, or perhaps never even started to try.
To help you reach these people, we will host a teleseminar, video conference or webinar at a time and on a day that is convenient to you, customized for you, for the students and staff members you choose.
In this teleseminar, videoconference or webinar, your students will get expert advice from members of your staff as well as Kevin Donlin and Steven Rothberg. Kevin is the founder of Guaranteed Resumes and author of Resume and Cover Letter Secrets Revealed. He has been quoted extensively by local and national media, including USA Today, Minneapolis Star Tribune and the Wall Street Journal. Steven is the President and Founder of CollegeRecruiter.com, a contributor to its book, The Last Job Search Guide You'll Ever Need: How to Find and Get the Job or Internship of Your Dreams (also available at Amazon.com). Steven has also been quoted extensively by local and national media, including ABCNews.com, Associated Press, Business Week, Chicago Tribune, CNN.com, Entrepreneur magazine, Fortune, the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Journal of Career Planning & Employment, Newsweek, New York Times, Reuters, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, Washington Post, and Ziff Davis Smart Business. Steven has also been interviewed by national broadcasting stations, including CNN Headline News and National Public Radio's Talk of the Nation (186 radio stations nationwide).

Customer Testimonial "Thank you for the good content and for being so willing to spend time with our students after the teleseminar!" -- Susan D. Strayer, SPHR, Assistant Director, Career Services, School of Professional Studies in Business and Education, Johns Hopkins University |
Here's what we'll cover, with your approval:
Unlike most in-person seminars, this will not be a one way "discussion," where students sit and fall asleep while someone drones on and on. Teleseminars, videoconferences and webinars, are highly interactive, because even shy participants participate!
Your students will ask questions -- and get answers. Depending on the size of the group, they can either ask questions throughout the hour or submit them in advance to our panel.

Customer Testimonial "Steven and Kevin gave an outstanding videoconference seminar. The students were able to glean some new information they had not heard before and found that a lot what Steven and Kevin shared affirmed what we've been telling our students. A job well done!" -- Shannon Christensen, University of Iowa MBA Career Services |
The cost? Less than you may think.
Because there are no travel costs, conference room rentals or other typical charges, we're able to deliver all of this for $395 for the teleseminar or webinar, a fraction of what most experts charge for in-person presentations. Again, that's the cost for dozens, hundreds or even thousands of participants. (For the teleseminar, there is a $1 charge per phone line if more than 25 phone lines are accessing the teleseminar. For the videoconference, there is an additional $235 charge, which is our out-of-pocket cost of renting a videoconferencing facility.)
And here's something you can't get from a traditional seminar. We'll tape the session and give you a free copy, so you can share it with students who couldn't attend. And they can listen to it again and again, for reinforced learning.
Please note that you have great control over content. We are happy to adjust the content to focus on issues of importance to your students, or to host a series of teleseminars, videoconferences or webinars with each one focusing on a particular topic, or to host the teleseminars, videoconferences or webinars on an evening or weekend if you feel that those times will be more convenient for your students.
