Robert C. Resch is a Career Specialist at Triton College in River Grove, Illinois. He is new to the academic world, having recently been hired as a Career Specialist at Triton College. Robert's position allows him to work principally with adult students, many of whom are at crossroads in their life and wondering, "Is this all there is?"
Robert's most recent private sector positions were in manufacturing, including eight years in general management with profit and loss responsibilities at privately owned printing paper converting and distribution company in Chicago. Before that he was in production and then was the Plant Manager for fourteen years with a large privately held folding carton manufacturer in Chicago.
Robert is a continuous learner. After graduating from Elmhurst College
in Elmhurst, Illinois with a BS in Business Management, he continued collecting a variety of certificates, including Advanced Jungian Studies from the Karl Jung Institute in Evanston, Illinois; multiple certificates in Graphic Design and Typography and Graphic Production Design from Triton College, River Grove, Illinois; and a Landscape Design certifice from the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois.
Robert and his wife have three grown children. Each are college
graduates and have families of their own. Robert's hobbies include macro-photography, fly-fishing (yes, in Illinois), landscape design and running a small graphic design business from my home.
