Richard Kersey was originally hired by CollegeRecruiter.com to do a small number of animated banner advertisement designs as a freelancer but his quick and excellent customer service led to additional projects which were increasingly more complex such as a full site re-design; blog software installation; major database work; development of the Recruiting Blogswap career-related free article sharing web site; as well as on-going design, programming, and site maintenance. Perhaps most importantly, Richard's contributions regularly go beyond mere development work as his opinions on the business side of the projects are well thought out and valued by every member of the CollegeRecruiter.com team.
Richard's role with CollegeRecruiter.com has evolved from that of a part-time 1099 contractor to a full-time 1099 contractor to a full-time W-2 employee to the owner of RazorIT, the primary web development company used by CollegeRecruiter.com. His work has allowed CollegeRecruiter.com to grow from having a few employees and a web site which relied on outside partners to deliver the most important content such as job postings to a company with a dozen employees and a web site which is now recognized as the leading job board for college students who are searching for internships and recent graduates who are hunting for entry-level jobs.
The 1,000 miles between Richard's office near Syracuse, New York and that of CollegeRecruiter.com in Minneapolis, Minnesota has not slowed him down or hindered the excellent customer service that he provides. Nor has his marriage and addition of children to his young family.
