Question:
What types of jobs in the non-profit sector are out there for liberal
arts majors with no work or volunteering experience?
Answer:
Jobs of all types exist in the non-profit sector. Here's a directory of web
sites specializing in this industry:
http://myjobsearch.com/specialty/spec37.html. A study of the online job
postings may give you a good idea of what you can specifically do with your
skills.
And who says you don't have experience? Just because you have never had an
employer pay you to do things that a job might require does not mean you
lack experience in doing some of those things. For example, I have never had
a job parking cars but I have been driving for years. Do you think I can
illustrate my abilities in applying for a job where parking cars is
required?

can communicate their skills in an interview:
