David E. Gordon is currently the Director of Advertising and Promotion Internships in the Marketing Communications Department at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. He has held senior marketing and general management positions with Storey, Gorden and Freer, Alberto Culver, Oak Industries and John O. Butler Company.

Mr. Gordon was also president of his own executive search firm and has been counseling both students and executives in job hunting skills for over thirteen years. He has taught seminars on "Marketing Yourself in the 90's and Beyond" at DePaul University, Columbia College, the International Academy of Merchandising and Design and Roosevelt University.

He has also been a contributor to the Wall Street Journal's National Business Employment Weekly, The Journeal of Colleges and Employers, College Recruiter employment magazine, Chicago Career Magazine and Career Magazine.

He earned his M.B.A. in Marketing from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in New York and his B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
